                Job Description
                
                
                    
                        
	A cook is responsible for the following duties and tasks:
	- 
		Preparing, cooking and plating food items following our specifications and following health department standards
- 
		Working safely and for idenitfying potential safety hazards
- 
		Cleaning the work area and various areas of the kitchen
- 
		Putting ingredients and other supplies away when delivered
- 
		Maintaining the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils and tools 
- 
		Stock merchandise and put away deliveries 
- 
		Perform kitchen duties including slicing, chopping, broiling and grilling
- 
		Communicate openly with management regarding any work-related concerns 
 
             
            
            
            
                Requirements
                
                
                    
                        
	Requirements:
	- 
		Must be at least 18 years of age
- 
		Must have at least 6 months kitchen experience
- 
		Able to multi-task with a strong attention to detail 
- 
		Can adapt to change easily
- 
		Is approachable and proactive
- 
		Able to problem solve
- 
		Able to work in elevated temperatures 
- 
		Able to work in confined areas 
- 
		Able to work effectively within a team 
- 
		Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time 
- 
		Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

		Able to have continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching and twisting
